Bear troubles

2:04 a.m. A Kalispell woman accidently called 911 when trying to find her glasses.

7:33 a.m. A Marion resident reported that there was a car parked in his driveway with a bunch of “crap” in the back.

10:04 a.m. A dog was chasing cars in Kalispell.

10:47 a.m. A Hungry Horse man called to complain that the camper he had towed away the previous day was back in its regular spot.

10:58 a.m. A Kalispell vehicle was broken into at some point during the night.

11:04 a.m. There was a possible Winnebago sighting in Hungry Horse.

11:44 a.m. A Kalispell man said some checks were stolen out of his mailbox.

12:05 a.m. A Kalispell man playing with his phone in his pocket ended up calling 911 by accident.

12:16 p.m. Two huskies were running around Kalispell.

2:10 p.m. Two carpet installers came to a Whitefish home with a brand new carpet and left with some stolen goods.

3:17 p.m. A cat on Bison Circle was causing trouble.

3:24 p.m. A baby bear was near a train.

3:30 p.m. A husky was following a Kalispell man around.

4:38 p.m. A Kalispell woman was concerned about her neighbor’s horses. The woman said it looked as if the horses had not eaten for a few days and that no one was caring for them.

4:56 p.m. A Kalispell man used a fake $100 bill to purchase some items.

5:01 p.m. A brush fire turned into an out-of-control wildfire in Whitefish. Firefighters came by and got it back under control.

6:05 p.m. A Kalispell woman received a package of marijuana in the mail.

6:12 p.m. A Kalispell resident said some city slicker from Missoula was driving all over the road.

6:43 p.m. A bear was stuck in a tree in Bigfork.

7:24 p.m. Someone’s aunt was drunk.

8:05 p.m. A camper was stolen in Columbia Falls.

11:57 p.m. A deer was struck by a car and required immediate medical attention. Unfortunately, someone shot it instead.
