Rebel Roots Kitchen Opens in Whitefish

The menu includes numerous vegan options that are dairy free, gluten free and non-GMO

A new organic eatery recently opened in downtown Whitefish’s Palace Bar on Central Avenue.

Touting itself as a health food restaurant, the offerings at Rebel Roots include a Spicy Thai Veggie Soup, Panang Curry, fresh spring rolls, and a variety of tacos and bowls — Hawaiian Kalua Pork Tacos, a Hawaiian “Rice” Bowl, Korean Tofu Tacos, and more.

The Rebel “Rice” Bowl includes garlic-coconut riced cauliflower, lightly steamed kale and carrots, raw bell peppers, cabbage, bean sprouts and avocado. It’s topped with toasted sunflower seeds and smothered in a basil coconut curry sauce, with your choice of baked tofu or pulled pork.

The philosophy behind Rebel Roots centers on the notion that humans can fuel themselves with healthful, delicious food with a minimal impact on the environment.

The menu includes numerous vegan options that are dairy free, gluten free and non-GMO.
