Glacier High School grad McKenna Hulslander, now a sophomore goalie at Hamline University, was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s women’s hockey player of the week on Dec. 10.

Hulslander stopped 25 shots in a 3-0 shutout of Wisconsin-Superior on Dec. 4 and has been terrific all year in net for the Pipers (8-1-1).  She has started nine of Hamline’s 10 games and boasts a 1.71 goals against average and .930 save percentage.

Last season, as a freshman, Hulslander won 14 games and led Hamline to a third-place finish at the NCAA Division III national championships.
