Class AA state champion Evan Todd will join the track and field team at the University of Montana next year, the Glacier High School senior announced with an Instagram post on Feb 7.

Todd took home the state javelin title in dramatic fashion as a junior, uncorking a final throw of 184 feet and 1 inch, a toss that helped the Wolfpack win the team championship for the first time in school history. As a sophomore, Todd also earned all-state honors, finishing sixth in the javelin.

The 6-foot-2 Todd quarterbacked the Glacier football team last fall, leading the Pack to the Class AA state playoffs and throwing for more than 1,600 yards.
