BOZEMAN — Developers in a Montana city have donated vacant property to become a wildlife sanctuary.

Mike Delaney and Ileana Indreland have given nearly 32 acres (13 hectares) of wetland in northeast Bozeman to the Sacajawea Audubon Society.

The group announced Friday it will develop the land into a nature sanctuary for birds and other wildlife and a place where children can learn about nature.

The Bozeman Chronicle reports the sanctuary will be called the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve.
