BILLINGS — Yellowstone County officials have released the name of a man whose body was found in a log jam the Yellowstone River over the weekend.

Deputy Coroner Rich Hoffman says the body of 42-year-old Curtis Paul Wallette of Billings was found Saturday by people who were floating the river near Worden.

Hoffman said Thursday they won’t have a cause or manner of death until lab tests are completed, but Sheriff Mike Linder has said there were no signs of foul play.

Officials said they were unsure how long he had been in the water.
