“Hoopla”

12:46 a.m. Deputies in Lincoln County responded to what was initially reported as a shooting on Farm to Market Road near Libby. When they arrived it turns out it was just a noisy “hoopla” and no shots had been fired.

11:49 a.m. Two dogs were accused of killing a local turkey.

1:09 p.m. A deer was struck by a car outside a U.S. Forest Service office in Libby.

5:35 p.m. A man with a selfie stick was pretending to be a land surveyor and was taking photos of someone’s property.

6:37 p.m. Some local dogs wouldn’t shut up.

8:02 p.m. A Libby landlord needed a cop to swing by and pick up some drugs left by their previous renter.

9:21 p.m. A sick deer was reported in Libby.
