Swirl, a new gourmet cotton candy company, has launched in the Flathead Valley. Founder Jessica Shaw hopes to reinvigorate the love for this classic confection by bringing a new twist to this century-old sweet.

Using organic sugar as the base, Swirl offers their treats without any artificial flavorings or dyes. Flavors go beyond the traditional “pink” or “blue” and are made without any preservatives, as well. The result is a delicate white cloud of delight.

Swirl offers traditional flavors such as bubblegum and strawberry, but also offers unexpected ones like pineapple, root beer, and champagne. Each Swirl averages only a tablespoon of sugar.

Swirl is available for private parties and event catering. The company currently vends at the Whitefish Farmers Markets on Tuesdays in Depot Park. For more information, email [email protected] or visit the company’s Facebook page and social media accounts.
