Police Identify Montana Man Who Died After Store Stabbing

BILLINGS — Montana authorities identified a man who died after he was stabbed at a convenience store.

Dane Fisher, 35, of Ashland died in a hospital after he was stabbed once in the chest in Crow Agency, The Billings Gazette reported Tuesday.

The Crow Police Department responded to the Tee Pee Convenience Store and Gas Station around 5 p.m. Sunday for a report of an altercation between Fisher and another tribal member.

The FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs are investigating the homicide.

The FBI would not comment on whether an arrest had been made or a suspect was identified.
