In-person Schooling a Recipe for Disaster

Cases continue to increase and the upcoming start of opening schools is downright scary

I continue to be very concerned with the trajectory of this pandemic and the response in Montana as well as throughout the country. Cases continue to increase and the upcoming start of opening schools is downright scary. It does not take much of a scientist to see that in-person schooling is the exact wrong thing to do in this crisis. Transmission at schools (as in that summer camp in Georgia) is bound to be through the roof. We need to not open in-person schools, close bars and large gatherings. Maintain the mask mandate and maybe get control of things so school could start a month or two later. Otherwise I fear a very long, troubling fall and winter. Get control now.
