Great Falls Police Investigating 14-Year-Old's Death

GREAT FALLS — Police in Great Falls are investigating the shooting death of a 14-year-old boy, officers said Friday.

Antonio Carlos Thierry Jr., was killed Thursday by a gunshot wound to the chest, Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter said. The boy was shot by another juvenile, he said.

Police are investigating the killing as a homicide.

Police, fire and emergency services responded to a reported shooting at 5 p.m. Thursday and found the boy dead. He was an eighth grader at East Middle School.

Officials have said no arrests have been made, but there is no danger to the community.
