A 33-year-old Butte woman is dead after she was struck by a vehicle while walking on U.S. Highway 2 near Martin City on Sunday night just after 9 p.m., according to a fatality report by the Montana Highway Patrol.
Authorities found the woman dead when they arrived on the scene.
The driver was not injured.
The woman’s identity has not been released yet.
