A 35-year-old Columbia Falls man was arrested on charges of criminal endangerment after he led law enforcement on a high-speed vehicle pursuit Thursday night starting at Three Mile Drive and ending on U.S. Highway 93 South.
Eric Scott Dolence was booked in the Flathead County Detention Center on March 24 after he was treated for minor injuries at Logan Health.
Kalispell Police Department officers on March 23 at 7:30 p.m. responded to a report of a male on the edge of the overpass at the intersection of Three Mile Drive and the bypass who looked like he might jump off.
When law enforcement arrived, Dolence was uncooperative and got into his vehicle, leading authorities on a high-speed pursuit southbound on the bypass. Attempts to end the pursuit using stop sticks were unsuccessful.
Authorities eventually arrested Dolence on U.S. Highway 93 south with assistance from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.
