Irreplaceable: Honoring the Faith and Convictions of Charlie Kirk

Let us honor him not with words alone, but with our lives

By Randyn Greg

The horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk, carried out before thousands at Utah Valley University, has left me at a loss for words. Charlie was only 31, a devoted husband, father of two, Christ follower, and tireless champion of truth. His stature and character were irreplaceable, and millions of Americans, myself included, are heartbroken.

Charlie’s courage and generosity of spirit were unmatched. He stood firm in truth while extending grace to opponents, embodying the conviction that America is best when God is honored, families are strong, and our God given rights are defended. His leadership through Turning Point USA inspired countless young people and ordinary citizens, including me. His example gave me the courage to believe that even a horseshoer could one day serve in the State House.

From his life, two lessons stand out. First, political violence has no place in America. Charlie believed in persuasion, not force, and insisted that moral truths must be advanced through debate and discourse. Second, he was uncompromising in convictions rooted in Scripture and natural law: that America is a great nation, and that our constitutional republic is the greatest form of governance in history.

These were the ideals Charlie Kirk was martyred for. The best way to honor him is to live by them. As Scripture reminds us, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant … enter thou into the joy of thy Lord” (Matthew 25:21).

Let us honor him not with words alone, but with our lives. Step away from the noise, immerse yourself in God’s Word, and dwell on what is true, noble, pure, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). By pursuing these eternal truths, we can ensure that the legacy of Charlie Kirk, a man taken from us far too soon, continues to shape America for generations.

Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk.
