Cub scout packs 4944 and 4103 gathered Saturday at the Kalispell Center Mall to show off their Pinewood Derby creations and race their cars down a wooden track. Cars had to be a maximum of 5 ounces and fit a certain height and width, but the entry constraints didn't stop scouts from entering cars shaped like couches, pickles and tanks. Boy scout troop 1901 helped host the event.
