Flathead County Sheriff’s and Kalispell Police Reports

Threatening Text Message and Stolen Bike

4:25 a.m. A text message was sent to someone in Flathead County informing him or her, that if they did not forward the message, people would die.

6:32 a.m. A man said a bear would not leave his yard.

8:21 a.m. An unoccupied, 18-foot aluminum boat vanished on the Flathead River.

10:53 a.m. Delinquents spilled paint in a home that is for sale on First Avenue North in Hungry Horse.

10:55 a.m. A belligerent man made a pass at a 15-year-old babysitter. Another man encouraged him to curb his unacceptable behavior, but the drunken man instead took a swing at the other gentleman. Subsequently, two other men took the drunken individual to the floor. The case has been referred to the county attorney.

12:53 p.m. A backpack was found in Hungry Horse. The owner has yet to be found.

4:01 p.m. Two men were lying in the ditch and drinking sodas near the Seville Lane bus stop.

5:11 p.m. Someone, who has been committing a “white collar crime,” is no longer fooling anyone.

5:44 p.m. “Hobo Billy” thought he would never see his bike again because some teens stole it while “Billy” was hanging around a condemned trailer on Nicholson Drive in Evergreen. It is not know how, but “Hobo Billy” got his bike back.

7:02 p.m. Several days after it happened, someone called in to report an assault, hit and run, and an attempted kidnapping that took place across the street from an Evergreen bar.

8:35 p.m. A couple hanging out in a car by Lybeck’s Dyke were told to move along. It’s not sure what they were doing in the car, but it looked suspicious.

The departments responded to 175 calls for service.
