Former Kalispell Lakers standout Ryan Wardinsky returns to his hometown to host the annual Flathead Valley Baseball Camp, July 10 at Griffin Field in Kalispell.
Wardinsky played collegiately at Texas A&M University and was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2002. He spent two years as a player in the Phillies farm system and today works as a scout in the Miami Marlins organization.
The camp is open all players age 8 and older, and will also include instruction from Lakers AA Head Coach Ryan Malmin. Attendees will receive lessons in hitting, base running and fielding. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $50 to attend.
