The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:
8:11 a.m. A vandal tore off the windshield wipers and bumper of a car.
8:41 a.m. Golf clubs were reported stolen out of a vehicle on Arbour Drive.
8:52 a.m. A woman called the Sheriff’s Department after she heard someone screaming “let me go.” The screaming woman was not found.
9:13 a.m. Tools were taken from a construction site on Slopeside Drive.
11:11 a.m. Someone called KPD when they noticed a horse tied to a large crate behind Los Caporales. The horse was in good condition on private property.
12:56 p.m. A man in Alabama was sent a court notice from Flathead County. The Alabama man claimed he had never been to Flathead County and that his ID had been stolen. The case is being investigated.
1:09 p.m. A gun was stolen from a vehicle on West Valley Drive.
1:38 p.m. An inmate in the detention center needed assistance dislodging the hotdog he was choking on.
1:45 p.m. A Bigfork resident needed assistance with a trapped cat.
4:38 p.m. A woman called the Sheriff’s Department when her 19-year-old son flicked hot cigarette ashes on her forehead and spit in her face. The ungrateful son was removed from the house.
5:23 p.m. A call was made regarding a very intoxicated female begging for money. KPD sent her on her way. Later they found her male counterpart passed out behind the liquor store.
8:10 p.m. An incoherent and intoxicated woman told deputies that her husband, also drunk, had pushed her out of the car. She had a fat lip. No medical assistance was required and no arrests were made.
8:23 p.m. An inebriated male with a bloody face on Hwy 35 refused medical assistance and went home.
The departments responded to 207 calls for service.
