MISSOULA – A joint funeral and memorial service is being planned for two Missoula girls killed in a traffic crash allegedly involving a drunken driver.
Fifteen-year-old Taylor Cearley and 14-year-old Ashley Patenaude died Saturday night while walking along a highway between Missoula and East Missoula. Two other girls were also injured when police say a vehicle driven by David James DelSignore veered off the roadway.
DelSignore, 29, of Clinton, is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide while under the influence and two counts of negligent vehicular assault. Police say he was talking on a cell phone at the time of the crash and that his blood-alcohol level was 0.147 three hours later.
A joint memorial service is planned for Cearley and Patenaude Thursday at the Bonner School in Bonner.
