Photos: Howe Ridge Fire

The Howe Ridge Fire was started on Aug. 11 following a lightning storm in Glacier National Park. The fire grew rapidly the evening of Aug. 12, forcing the closure of the Going-to-the-Sun Road and the evacuation of the upper Lake McDonald area.
