Lucky Ducks

Ten ducklings were rescued from a storm drain after Logan Health staff heard their cries echoing through a grate on a curb in the Summit Medical Gym parking lot in Kalispell on the morning of July 7. By early afternoon, facilities staff from the hospital and the City of Kalispell dug a hole through the asphalt to reach the stranded baby birds. Hunter D'Antuono | Flathead Beacon
