Students from the Flathead Valley and across the nation walked out of their classrooms in protest on March 14, a month after 17 students were shot and killed at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. At Columbia Falls High School, students both for and against gun control stood outside the school for 17 minutes.
