Glacier on Pace for Record Visitation

Glacier National Park is on pace for a record year for visitation after receiving more than 66,000 visitors in October.

The Daily Inter Lake Reports that through he first 10 months of Glacier’s centennial year, just over 2.2 million people have entered the park, a nearly 10 percent increase over the previous year.

The busiest year on record for glacier was 1983, when the park attracted 2,203,847 visitors — or just 1,368 more than the park saw through the end of October this year.
