Jan 30, 2015 | In the first crosstown basketball games of the season, Glacier swept rival Flathead with a pair of decisive victories inside Flathead’s gym on Jan. 29. Hailee Bennett scored a game-high 16 points, Brielle Bumgarner had eight and Taylor Salonen and Nikki Krueger each added six as the Wolfpack girls won 52-23, improving to 13-3 career against the Bravettes. Kylee Meredith led Flathead with seven points, Taryn Gutierez had six and Stephanie Wilson added five. In the boys matchup, Sam McCamley exploded for a game-high 20 points and Cody Norberg chipped in 13 as the Wolfpack ran away from the Braves 70-40. Matt Marshall led Flathead with 14 points. Glacier is 13-5 against Flathead the past eight seasons. The two teams square off again at Glacier on Feb. 27.
