Hollerin’

11:43 a.m. The disruptive sound of “hollerin” was heard in the Columbia Falls area.

12:12 p.m. A woman called in from Whitefish to report that one of her renters has marijuana operation running out of her basement.

1:28 p.m. A renter on Pleasant Lane complained that a homeless cat has been hanging around his yard, irritating the landlord.

1:31 p.m. A man was given a citation for destroying a mailbox on Dogwood Lane.

2:34 p.m. A confused-looking woman in a plum colored car was seen driving erratically through the Evergreen area.

2:47 p.m. Someone called in to talk about guns.

4:17 p.m. Numerous calls were made about a teenaged boy on Shadow Lane who pointed a toy gun at passing cars.

4:53 p.m. A man in a maroon pickup with a stuffed animal strapped to the grill drove into the ditch along North Meridian Road, took out a street sign on Seventh Avenue West, and drove through someone’s lawn. He was pulled over shortly after.

5:13 p.m. Reportedly, someone in a red Mustang ran every stop sign on First Avenue West in Columbia Falls.

5:50 p.m. A man called from Willow Glenn Drive reporting that two teenaged boys were floating down the river in his boat. He called back shortly after from another boat to report that he was trailing the thieving boys and his boat.

6:29 p.m. A man on Welf Lane reported that a drooling, rabid cat lives under his front porch.

9:11 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident suspects that some of the local kids have been shooting local rabbits with blow darts.

9:54 p.m. A balding man was seen walking down the middle of Highway 35 in Kalispell.

10:43 p.m. A Kila woman reported that the man who stole her truck on Sunday had just returned it.
