Beer Theft

6:21 a.m. Someone reported that two suspicious looking people were wandering around Evergreen, checking on doors and looking in businesses.

10:25 a.m. An employee called from a business on Highway 2 West complaining that “weirdos” and “tweakers,” were hanging around the store.

12:54 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that her neighbor often goes out a night and roots around on her property with a flashlight. She believes he is stealing her stuff.

2:04 p.m. Two kids were caught lighting fireworks next to a hotel in Evergreen.

2:23 p.m. Someone stole a PA system and cooler full of beer during a car show in Hungry Horse.

2:48 p.m. Multiple kids were seen dangling out the window of a gold sedan that was swerving down Main Street in Kalispell.

3:41 p.m. Reportedly, belligerent men were trying to sell “wood or something” behind a restaurant on Highway 2 East.

6:35 p.m. A Kalispell man complained that his ex-girlfriend is blowing up his phone. When asked, she agreed to stop calling.

7:35 p.m. A Wettington Drive resident reported that a runaway retriever was sitting on his front porch.

11:23 p.m. A drunken man was cited for disorderly conduct after stumbling through a Kalispell resident’s yard and yelling unpleasantries at the irritated homeowner.

11:49 p.m. A woman on East Oregon Street called in stating that she was ready to go to bed, but was unable to do so because others in the neighborhood were still awake and pounding on things.

4:03 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident heard a bear outside banging on the walls and growling. A deputy claimed that it was not a bear, but a deer that had made the racket.
