Lost Chihuahua

8:02 a.m. A golden retriever ran into the side of a dump truck that was traveling down Church Drive. An animal warden thought the dog would be okay.

8:53 a.m. An Evergreen woman reported that her neighbor told her to “watch her back.”

9:39 a.m. A county inmate complained that his live-in girlfriend has been using his car without his permission.

12:18 p.m. A man called from Shady Lane to report that another man “stole his ride” and kicked him in the face. Witnesses say the two men were yelling and possibly “playing around” before one man tried to grab the other man’s bike. The bike owner then went after the thief with a screw driver and, in self-defense, the thief high kicked him in the face.

12:43 p.m. Someone saw a rusty tin bucket fly out the bed of a pickup traveling down Highway 35 near Kalispell.

1:32 p.m. A Danielson Road resident reported that a strange man dressed in all white asked for directions and a drink of water.

4:31 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that someone stole her cell phones.

4:52 p.m. A concerned Kalispell resident claimed that a man came to her house and offered to buy everything on her property.

7:10 p.m. Someone reported that a man on a bicycle was taking pictures of cars traveling through Hungry Horse.

7:33 p.m. A brown Datsun type thing was seen swerving through Columbia Falls.

8:22 p.m. Something exploded in Hungry Horse.

9:49 p.m. Something that looked like a Chihuahua was found near the baggage claim area at the airport. It was taken to the shelter.

10:20 p.m. Another dog, a brown boxer, was found in the airport terminal. It was returned to its owner.
