Locked In

10:57 a.m. An employee of a store on Highway 35 in Kalispell reported that an intoxicate man was in the store calling him and his co-worker filthy names.

12:56 p.m. A woman called from Highway 35 in Kalispell claiming that she had locked herself inside her apartment and was unable to find her keys.

1:56 p.m. Reportedly, a man followed a group of people home from a Whitefish bar and, after everyone fell asleep, helped himself to their iPads, cell phones, and cash. He also tore up their passports and kept one for himself.

3:26 p.m. Someone attempted to throw a rock through a vehicle window on Bear Trail.

3:40 p.m. An Evergreen gas station employee was verbally assaulted by a man in tan shorts.

3:55 p.m. Someone called in complaining that kids in an old Blazer were driving “hard” through a gravel pit located somewhere near Hungry Horse.

6:04 p.m. A welder was stolen out of someone’s shop in Hungry Horse.

6:56 p.m. A half-naked runaway toddler was captured and reunited with his parents.

7:22 p.m. Someone called from a storage facility reporting that a slender man carrying a lap top was inside the fenced area, hunkering down behind one of the buildings. The man said he was a renter and wasn’t doing anything weird.

7:24 p.m. Pebble Drive kids were out playing in the street.

11:28 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that two drunken men were in her driveway yelling at one another and, when she confronted them, they yelled at her too.

1:16 p.m. A man called from Cobbler Way complaining that his neighbor had dug a trench across his driveway.
