Eagle Hunting

4:38 a.m. An intoxicated man attempted to access some sort of pill box on Main Street. He was advised to go to bed.

8:21 a.m. A business owner on Woodland Avenue complained that someone, he didn’t know who, repeatedly pushes snow into his parking lot.

8:55 a.m. A tractor and a snow plow reportedly collided on the North Fork Road.

9:32 a.m. Two men were spotted shooting at bald eagles on a wildlife reserve off of Highway 2 East.

10:16 a.m. A Ford Ranger parked on Fifth Avenue West was broken into. A few things were missing.

11:14 a.m. A loose golden retriever and springer spaniel were picked from Smith Lake Road.

12:32 p.m. Mailboxes on West Cottonwood Drive were found vandalized.

2:17 p.m. A Willow Drive resident reported that the neighbor’s husky has a deer chasing problem. At the time of the call the husky was sitting by a fence watching the deer.

3:32 p.m. Six wandering horses were seen heading westbound down Highway 35.

6:28 p.m. A rejected Christmas Tree was found and dragged off of the highway.

11:28 p.m. A deputy witnessed someone run out of a Columbia Falls gas station with an arm full of beer. The people involved were cited and the beer was returned to the store.
