Drinking and Driving

11:45 a.m. A keg of beer was stolen out of the back of a delivery truck when the driver stopped to help another drive who was stuck in the snow.

1:18 a.m. Someone made a non-emergent “butt dial” to 911.

1:42 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported that the neighbor’s vicious dogs were in his yard and, if they threatened his dog, he planned to fight them off with a baseball bat.

5:06 p.m. A man walking down Whalebone Drive called in with unintelligible concerns regarding oppressive CIA agents.

8:23 p.m. Someone called from a bathroom stall in Hungry Horse to report that a man in the bar was wearing her son’s stolen coat and may be carrying a gun.

9:16 p.m. A drunken man called from his home in Marion to report that two men at the bar tried to stop him from driving and he might have punched one of them in the face.

10:04 p.m. A man towing a baseball bat was seen stumbling down Willow Glenn Drive.

10:44 p.m. A bartender in Hungry Horse reported that two men were “getting ugly” and that one pulled a gun on the other.

12:48 a.m. A Whitefish man reported that his “strange”girlfriend was drunk and destroying his house. He stated that he picked her up and physically removed her from the house and locked the door. At the time of the call she was attempting to break the door down. She was arrested.
