Black Bear Sighting

9:27 a.m. A black lab was at large on Conrad Drive.

10:23 a.m. Another black dog was spotted trying to play with people in a parking lot in Columbia Falls. It ran off before it could be caught.

10:39 a.m. A woman on Willow Glen was reunited with her runaway black lab.

11:18 a.m. Someone in a turbo-charged Dodge Ram ran a red light at excess speeds on East Idaho Street.

11:44 a.m. A resident on Rhodes Draw reported that someone stole the log-splitter out of his barn.

1:21 p.m. A concerned woman reported that a strange man sent her and several of her friends Facebook friend requests and has offered to give them each $5,000 and other gifts.

2:23 p.m. A black bear was seen wandering around behind an interior decorating shop in Columbia Falls.

3:13 p.m. Another Columbia Falls resident found a bear in their garage.

7:08 p.m. There was talk of a rabid sheep living on Airport Road.

10:03 p.m. Despite one resident’s homemade speed bumps, “everyone” on Middle Road still speeds.
