Glacier Babe Ruth is accepting signups for players ages 13 through 15 years old for the upcoming baseball season.
The deadline to sign up for the youth baseball league is March 1. Families should visit glacierbaberuth.com and print out registration forms and mail them to PO Box 1079, Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
Glacier Babe Ruth started in 1981 as Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Bigfork formed one of the best Babe Ruth programs in the state. In its first three years of existence, the 15U Glacier Babe Ruth team appeared in the 1983 World Series in Frederick, Maryland after winning the regional tournament in Wheatland, Wyoming.
Glacier Babe Ruth continues to put together strong league play and a very competitive all star team for ages 13-15. With numerous state championships, regional tournaments are very common for Glacier Babe Ruth.
Last year the Glacier 15U team advanced to the World Series in Tennessee.
