Up To No Good

3:39 p.m. A resident on Third Avenue East in Kalispell reported that someone was “fiddling” with their car keys for five minutes before getting into a vehicle and driving away. The caller thought that was strange.

7:21 p.m. A concerned caller reported that a Kalispell barbecue eatery was on fire. Upon further investigation, law enforcement found that someone was just grilling outside.

9:52 p.m. A caller reported that they saw a large group of teenagers walking down Three Mile Drive and that one of them picked up a brick. The teens hadn’t done anything wrong, the caller said, but they were worried about what they were going to do with the brick.

3:12 p.m. Someone in Bigfork called 911 when she meant to call 411.

5:42 p.m. A county custodian reported that a transient has been sleeping in the lobby of a government building for the last two nights. After the man refused to leave, the custodians waxed the floor around him. The custodian would like a deputy to come by and prevent the transient from spending a third night in the lobby.
