Gopher Hunting

9:09 a.m. A home owner on Alpine Lane found what he assumed was a bag of frozen marijuana left in the freezer by a previous renter. A deputy determined that this was a bag of frozen pesto.

9:28 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident complained that people, specifically those on muffler-less motorcycles, habitually speed up and down Sandy Hill Lane.

11:08 a.m. Someone called 911 to report that an angry pedestrian was flipping off drivers on Conrad Drive.

12:25 p.m. Several gophers met their untimely end on Fichters Way in Kila.

1:36 p.m. Two young men were overheard talking about a woman’s chest hair during an accidental call to 911.

6:14 p.m. A man called from Echo Lake to report that an unruly gang of drunken people were pushing him and his friends around.

7:46 p.m. Someone called from an Evergreen fast food restaurant to report that a middle aged customer brandished a toy badge and advised onlookers that he was an “undercover agent.” He was asked to not return.
