Hammer Dispute

10:03 a.m. Someone called from Bigfork to report that a man in a white SUV pointed something that looked like a semi-automatic handgun at him. This, apparently, occurred after a confrontation regarding the man’s driving.

11:51 a.m. A man in a red pickup swore at several other drivers on Coram Stage.

12:34 p.m. A Kila resident reported that a “belligerent and hostile” man wants to take her sledgehammer, even though she has repeatedly asked him to leave it alone.

1:29 p.m. A local woman complained that the neighbor man was outside running his heavy equipment and she could hear it from her bedroom. A deputy advised her that this was not considered to be criminal activity.

6:34 p.m. A drunken man was seen clutching a beer as he stumbled out of a Mexican restaurant in Kalispell.

7:31 p.m. A runaway dog was returned to its sitter after an unaccompanied jaunt down Vista Lane.

7:42 p.m. A resident on Valley View Drive reported that someone stopped and let their black lab out, then drove off without her. The sad pup was taken to the animal shelter.

7:54 p.m. A Marion resident reported that his neighbor screamed at him. This too was dog related.
