The 2016 general election is down to the final weeks with several local, statewide and national races heating up.
Mail-in ballots go out Oct. 14 and Election Day is Nov. 8. The next session of the Montana Legislature convenes Jan. 9.
This week the Beacon breaks down statewide races in local state House districts. Next week we will feature a breakdown of the local state Senate races and the outlying state House districts, as well as in-depth looks at state and national contests.
