8:47 a.m. A Bernard Road resident freaked out on a passing dog walker after their pooch sniffed the man’s mailbox.

9:01 a.m. A Kila woman said someone keeps stealing the rocks from her house. The rocks allegedly have gold in them.

9:08 a.m. A Columbia Falls man reported that there was a cat in his backyard. The animal “isn’t afraid of anything” and even charged the family dog last night.

12:36 p.m. A log truck rolling through Kalispell was losing its load.

12:39 p.m. A large white dog and a miniature pony were wreaking havoc on Farm-to-Market Road.

1:21 p.m. A local green box manager was called a “communist” after he informed a resident that he couldn’t dispose of his shrubbery there and had to take it to the county dump.

3:10 p.m. A Bigfork kitten scratched its owner. The new cat caretaker was concerned that the kitten hadn’t had its rabies vaccination yet.

3:16 p.m. A Kalispell man was attacked by two pit bulls in an alley. He had to deploy pepper spray to get away.

3:37 p.m. Two men were floating the river near Kalispell when they saw two transients fighting each other. The caller told law enforcement that the two people “were really going at it.”

5:12 p.m. A Kalispell drinker was arguing with their bartender and annoying other customers.

9:07 p.m. A Bigfork resident called police to make sure they got his fax.

9:30 p.m. A caller reported two people sitting in a car along Highway 2. They would like the pair to move along.

9:51 p.m. There was a “creepy guy” at the mall.
