Evergreen Mobile-Home Park Project Moves Forward

Planning board to hold public hearing on project in April

By Beacon Staff

The Flathead County Board of Adjustment gave the go-ahead to developers seeking a conditional-use permit that would allow for manufactured-home park in Evergreen.

West Evergreen Estates, from developers Michael V. Seaman and Garry Seaman, would include 122 rental spaces on 33 acres located off West Evergreen Drive.

On April 11, the Flathead County Planning Board will hold a public hearing to discuss the preliminary plat for the West Evergreen Estates subdivision. Members of the public who wish to give their input on this subdivision can do so at the planning board meeting.

After that, the subdivision heads to the Flathead County Commission for approval, and the commission will not be taking public comment at that hearing.

The plan includes nearly 9 acres of open park space, and the Evergreen school district has requested that the developers build a five-foot chain link fence along the eastern boundary.
