Foul Play Not Suspected After Body Found in Polson

Unidentified person was discovered on shore of Flathead Lake Tuesday afternoon

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office says foul play does not appear to be involved in the appearance of an unidentified body on the south shore of Flathead Lake in Polson on Tuesday.

Deputies responded to the scene after someone called 911 around 12:40 p.m. The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate and an autopsy will be performed.

No identifying information has been released, pending family notification.
