Police Blotter: Shady Car Warranty, Rowdy Party

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

9:25 a.m. A stolen vehicle was found with its window shattered behind the Deer Lick in Martin City.

9:41 a.m. Tires and rims were taken by a thief on US Highway 35.

11:10 a.m. A 20-year-old female reported that she saw a peeping Tom back in April.

11:20 a.m. There was a deer with a broken leg in the playground at the Evergreen Elementary School.

1:24 p.m. A Kalispell woman called in to complain about nine cats that had taken up residency under her shanty.

2:45 p.m. There was a hit dog.

5:06 p.m. A tenant in Columbia Falls called the Sheriff’s Department after his landlord tried to evict him without following the correct eviction guidelines. The landlord is now taking the appropriate eviction action, buying the evictee more time to get his stuff together.

5:38 p.m. A woman called in because she had just received a phone call from someone telling her that the warranty on her car was about to run out. She didn’t have a new car or a warranty and was thereby suspicious.

5:52 p.m. A woman called in because her neighbor’s dogs keep running around in her yard and eating her trash.

2:13 a.m. A man was was arrested after he got drunk and shoved his girlfriend.

3:43 a.m. Deputies responded to loud party on Shady Lane. They told the three people there to stop making loud noises.

The departments responded to 136 calls for service.
