Police Blotter: Drunk Husband, Shot Fired From Car

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Sunday included the following:

12:02 a.m. The Sheriff’s Department was called after a man threatened to grab a gun during a Bigfork bar fight. He was gone when deputies arrived.

3:01 a.m. A Lakeside resident called in because they saw a white Jeep senselessly spinning doughnuts right in the middle of the road.

9:03 a.m. An Whitefish resident called in because they saw wolves stalking some dogs. It turns out that it was not multiple wolves but one hybrid dog.

11:29 a.m. A man on North Fork Road called in because he plowed his driveway and then his neighbor, who shares the driveway, drove by on his snowmobile and knocked a bunch of snow back into the road.

3:58 p.m. Someone called in about an abandoned horse on Lynnewood Drive. The owner had left the horse in someone else’s care. That person had not been taking care of the horse. The owner is now aware and making arrangements to get the horse.

5:23 p.m. Someone called in a stolen vehicle on Big Mountain. But then it was found.

6:01 p.m. Someone in Kalispell called in to tattle on someone who had pulled over on the side of the road, shot a rifle and sped away.

6:32 p.m. Kids were seen throwing bottle rockets and firecrackers under cars.

10:33 p.m. A Kalispell resident called in to say that her husband was drunk again.

The departments responded to 191 calls for service.
