Police Blotter: Falling Arrows and Hungry Thief

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:

7:47 a.m. There was an injured coyote on the side of the road near Lakeside.

10:02 a.m. Tools were stolen from a business on McCafferty Road.

1:19 p.m. Someone called in from Sunset Drive because there were arrows falling from the sky into their yard. A resident on Kings Way had been shooting them on their property. The shooter didn’t realize how far the arrows were going.

2:37 p.m. A call was made about a vicious German Shepherd tied to a car on Silver Leaf.

6:52 p.m. Someone called in from Somers because a hungry thief had broken into their house, went through their cupboards and stole food from their fridge.

8:08 p.m. Someone from Coram called 911 to see if they could be connected to dispatchers in Houston, Tex.

9:08 p.m. A woman called in to say that her vehicle was stolen. She called back one minute later to report that she found it.

10:47 p.m. A resident on Truman Creek called to report that their neighbor was sneaking up their driveway.

The departments responded to 146 calls for service.
