Police Blotter: Boy Punches Dad and Gopher Accident

9:42 a.m. A Playstation 3 was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle parked at Wal-Mart.

11:08 a.m. A Hungry Horse resident who had recently moved out of a trailer came back to find it ransacked and one of her mirrors missing.

4:59 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was arrested after punching his dad over and over.

7:11 p.m. A 17-year-old boy shot himself while hunting gophers. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

9:08 p.m. An Evergreen man’s soon-to-be ex-wife threatened his new girlfriend.

12:48 a.m. Someone called in to report a drunken man walking around Meadow Manor with either a golden club or a compound bow looking item.

1:18 p.m. Someone thought they heard a gunshot in an Evergreen bar. Deputies were unable to find any evidence of the supposed shooting.

1:20 p.m. Someone called in to tattle on a transient who was standing near a building.

1:26 p.m. A man was arrested after failing to break into a Columbia Heights gas station.

1:56 p.m. A man was arrested after driving at excessive speeds down Highway 35 while intoxicated.

3:54 p.m. A woman called in from Reserve to report that someone was knocking on her door. She wouldn’t open it and they wouldn’t tell her who they were.
