Police Blotter: Verbal Assault and Elderly Attack

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

11:44 a.m. A Burlington Northern Santa Fe employee called from a Texas office to report that a reckless blue and yellow helicopter dropped down right in front of a train near Whitefish.

12:02 p.m. A gun was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle on Southfork Road. The gun was recovered.

12:26 p.m. A Kalispell resident called in to complain that the neighbor’s cats come over all the time to kill birds and tease their dogs. When the dogs chase the cats home, the neighbors complain about the dogs barking and the cat chasing.

5:34 p.m. Someone from Whitefish called in to say that their landlord verbally assaulted him.

6:06 p.m. A shed on Parliament Drive was nailed with paintballs.

6:18 p.m. An excitable citizen of Kalispell called in to report that a patrol officer that ran a stop sign.

8:31 p.m. An elderly individual in an assisted living facility in Whitefish tried to choke their roommate with a light cord. The victim was taken to North Valley Hospital.
