Police Blotter: Abandoned Three-legged Dogs and Drunken Sign Thief

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:

11:27 a.m. Someone called in after they found a bullet “with the end cut off” at a storage unit.

11:50 a.m. Screw guns and a circular saw were stolen from a construction site in Bigfork.

12:14 p.m. A deputy counseled an excitable man with road rage after he flipped off a semi-truck driver.

12:53 p.m. Two three-legged dogs were taken to the animal shelter after their owner had abandoned them in Coram.

4:01 p.m. A very thin and old horse lives on Foothill Road.

4:41 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident claimed that a planning board member was harassing him. Deputies counseled both men and all was well.

10:05 p.m. An old rusty pistol was found behind a store in Hungry Horse.

11:01 p.m. A very intoxicated young man was tackled after tried to run out of an Evergreen bar with a sign he had stolen off the wall. The fellow beer drinkers held the drunken thief down until deputies arrived. The man claimed he didn’t steal the sign, but had no idea why he was holding it.

11:58 p.m. A woman called in to report that her ex-husband had sent her a mean e-mail.
