Police Blotter: Unwanted Fertilizers

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:

1:18 p.m. A resident of Harbor Village called in to report that some people had defecated in the garden.

2:13 p.m. Someone from Lyon Mountain Drive called in to say that someone had just pulled into their driveway and turned around.

2:17 p.m. A worried individual called in to let deputies know someone who was lying on the ground in the cemetery off U.S. Highway 93 was not moving. The person was not hurt or dead, just pulling weeds out from under a bush.

3:14 p.m. A Parliament Drive resident called in to complain that someone had just called them and hung up.

4:05 p.m. A woman was arrested after she drunkenly drove her truck into the ditch. She had an open container of some sort and was lacking proper insurance.

5:21 p.m. Someone who lives off U.S. Highway 93 reported that some trespassers entered their yard and took stuff from their vehicles.

6:38 p.m. Someone called in complaining of a fawn lying on the side of Farm to Market Road.

7:10 p.m. A runaway girl was found at the mall.

8:50 p.m. Parents of a girl called in because her 29-year-old boyfriend keeps pounding on the door, leaves, then comes back to pound some more.

9:35 p.m. A 2-year-old swallowed a little bit of bleach. The toddler was fine and required no medical attention.

10:04 p.m. A man was arrested for assault after he grabbed the back of his girlfriend’s head.

1 a.m. When a man was questioned as to why he was trespassing on private property off U.S. Highway 2, he explained that he was only there because he had to poop. The owner of the property explained that they have seen a rash of copper thievery lately.
