1:39 a.m. Someone in Whitefish threw an old mattress away then set a nearby dumpster on fire.

3:22 a.m. A mountain lion was seen near Rhodes Draw in Kalispell.

8:30 a.m. An employee at an Evergreen laundry mat likely stole $400 from the safe.

10:24 a.m. A golf club was stolen from a vehicle at a Bigfork golf course.

1:53 p.m. A man in Hungry Horse can’t seem to find the words to communicate with his neighbor. He has replaced the standard wave with his middle finger.

2:11 p.m. Someone in Hungry horse reported that a man and a woman were yelling at each other. When deputies investigated they found the two to be cousins.

2:41 p.m. A woman was reportedly taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center and treated for a knee injury after she was found crawling through the parking lot of a Bigfork bar.

4:13 p.m. A laptop was stolen from a vehicle in Bigfork.

4:50 p.m. $65 worth of gas was stolen from a local gas station.

5:29 p.m. A bear was going through a garbage can in Columbia Falls.

5:41 p.m. A man and a woman got into a screaming match at an Evergreen fast food restaurant.

5:59 p.m. A man in Bigfork was ticketed for assault after he punched a younger man outside of a local bar.

6:30 p.m. Someone in Kila reported a bunch of kids sitting around at his property. When deputies arrived the kids had skedaddled.

7:06 p.m. Someone called in to report that a boater on Lower Stillwater Lake near Olney was driving too close to shore and drinking.

9:57 p.m. Someone on Patrick Cree Road found the remains of a car that had been burned out and pushed into the woods. When deputies investigated it was found that the car had been there for over a year.

10:36 p.m. A man on Bootjack Lake Road called authorities to tell them an intoxicated woman was sitting on his porch and would not leave. She eventually left without incident.

The departments responded to 169 calls for service.
