The First Best Place Task Force (FBP) hosted a standing-room-only Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event at their newly purchased Glacier Discovery Center last night.
Despite schedule overlaps with the circus, Farmers’ Market and other events around town, the former First Citizens Bank building was packed to the gills with community members from across the Flathead.
Thursday night’s event was more of a celebration than a business networking event, as FBP Executive Director Barry Conger and President Dave Renfrow thanked the sizable crowd for visiting, as well as for their support in acquiring the building.
From the looks of the architectural renderings and floor plans displayed throughout the building, the FBP has big plans for the former bank complex, as well as the entire square, which will be called Glacier Discovery Square.
