Police Blotter: Borrowed Money and Kings Way Assault

3:31 a.m. A man allegedly choked his girlfriend at a Hideaway Court Trail residence.

10:14 a.m. A woman’s friend withdrew $100 from her account. The guilty party promised to pay her back.

10:54 a.m. Someone, possibly in the Bigfork area, left their ipod at a friend’s house. When they returned, the ipod was gone.

1:03 p.m. Stolen: 148 compact discs.

1:30 p.m. A woman, who left her shopping cart unattended in Evergreen, had her purse stolen.

3:19 p.m. Strange looking containers were stolen from a garage in Columbia Falls.

3:58 p.m. A 9-year-old on First Avenue East in Kalispell was choking on some candy.

4:06 p.m. A woman said she found her stolen camera at a pawn shop.

5:22 p.m. Identification and a bag belonging to a woman from Minnesota were found on Frontage Way in Whitefish.

6:04 p.m. Someone broke the windshield out of a vehicle on Whalebone Drive. There is a suspect.

6:11 p.m. An older gentlemen who wrecked his bicycle was taken to North Valley Hospital.

10:38 p.m. A man on Kings Way allegedly smacked his spouse and pointed a gun at her.

1:08 a.m. An 8-year-old girl was screaming outside of her Smith Lake Road home. Her parents arrived home shortly thereafter.

The departments responded to 169 calls for service.
