Police Blotter: Chickens Killed and Messy Break-Up

7:15 a.m. An excavator was damaged at a Farm to Market Road work site.

8:18 a.m. Someone lost a bicycle and a tool chest on River Road. It looked like the items had fallen out of a pickup bed.

9:03 a.m. A black puppy did not have adequate shelter.

11:04 a.m. Someone found a gun, so they turned it in.

2:11 p.m. A bicycle was found on a bike path.

3:22 p.m. A bicyclist had a nose bleed after they were hit by a car near a sandwich shop in Evergreen.

3:41 p.m. Someone on Whitetail Lane in Whitefish watched their neighbor’s dog kill a cat.

4:57 p.m. People shooting near a bridge were perfectly legal; they were on state land.

5:49 p.m. Two sisters were fighting. One wanted the other to move out. Mom, though, said everything was fine.

5:56 p.m. Dogs were allegedly killing chickens near Spring Prairie.

6:10 p.m. A belligerent man was making threats at a gas station in Evergreen. The problem with the disorderly individual is ongoing.

8:16 p.m. A Flathead County detention officer helped a motorist on Interstate 90 near Anaconda.

8:49 p.m. A Barack Obama political sign was stolen from a Meadowlark Drive yard.

11:03 p.m. One teenager received harassing phone calls from another teenager.

11:56 p.m. Three people were seen walking through Heron Park.

4:42 a.m. A woman’s kitchen was trashed. She was having an affair and her boyfriend found out.

The departments responded to 151 calls for service.
